Fergana Medical Institute of Public Health, Uzbekistan was set up in 1991 as a medical centre at the Fergana State University. The executive order of the Cabinet Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 1998 Medical centre changed into the Fergana branch of the Tashkent state second Medical Institute.
To train qualified personnel with higher education, they are highly qualified in the areas of health care, epidemiologist well-being and public health to further improve the system of professional development of workers, to provide the medical organization with competent specialists, which include primary health care institutions by the order of President.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Fergana Medical Institute of Public Health
To be eligible for admission in Fergana Medical Institute of Public Health, applicants must have a good academic record. International students are also eligible for admission if:
- Student have passed 10,+2 with 50% marks in science subjects.
- The student should have completed 17 years as in the year of admission.
- The student have qualified NEET exam.
- The student is not suffering from any contagious disease i.e. tuberculosis, HIV AIDS, etc.
